Infographics

Our infographic style embodies simplicity with striking impact. It utilizes an isometric style that aligns with our brand's visual language.
What Is New?
To broaden our visual identity on social media, we have developed a distinctive illustration and infographic style. Infographics enable us to effectively convey abstract or complex subjects where photography may not be useful.

Building on our visual language
We have crafted an infographic style that echoes the principles you will see in our other brand assets. This approach helps to strengthen the association of these visual elements with the Crowe brand. It results in a versatile system for illustrations that not only leverages our brand equity but also becomes synonymous with Crowe.

Drawing inspiration from our SmartPaths, which themselves come from our Pinnacle logo, we have ensured that our
infographic system resonates with our core brand elements.
Style Principles
To maintain a uniform style in our infographics, we have established a set of straightforward principles. Designed for efficiency, they enable our network to take a stock vector from a commercial library and adapt it swiftly to align with our visual language. These guidelines are crafted to provide clear direction, whether you are creating a new infographic or
modifying a stock vector.
Isometric
We use an isometric approach to illustration and infographics. This connects our visual language through the
inherent angles that are common to this technique. The angles reflect those found in the SmartPath and Pinnacle logo. The isometric style is an easily sourced style across stock libraries due to its effectiveness in conveying complex topics.
Embrace the angle
To use the isometric perspective you will need to keep every line in your illustration aligned to a 30-degree angle. This creates the illusion of depth.
Foundation Grid
Utilize an isometric grid as a guide. This grid will be your roadmap for placing and aligning objects accurately.
Consistent angles for Cohesion
Maintain a strict adherence to 30, 90, and 150-degree angles in your design. This consistency is vital for creating a
authentic isometric space. Your vertical lines will remain vertical, but all horizontal lines must follow these angles to maintain
the isometric style.

Use and isometic grid to maintain consistent angles of 30, 90, and 150-degrees when creating an infographic.

Aim to avoid inconsistency when producing infographics. Each infographic should feel like part of a set.
Simplicity
The infographics are simplistic in style, focusing on the key elements needed to tell the story. It also helps to bring varied forms of isometric stock imagery closer together buy making them less reliant on design flourishes and allows us to apply our own styling in order to make them unique to Crowe’s visual identity.

Keep it simple and clear, overcomplicating an isometric illustration can lead to visual confusion. Prioritize simplicity to keep your illustrations comprehensible and they will perform better in social media across multiple platforms and screen sizes.

Color
In our illustrations and infographics, we use our the color priniciples for data visualizations. However, there is more flexibility in the use of colordue to the often higher  complexity of these designs. It may be necessary to use a broader spectrum of our brand colors to distinguish various elements within a scene.

The background remains our signature dark indigo, providing a canvas that allows the colors to stand out. Gradients are used sparingly, their subtlety adding depth and dimension without overwhelming the scene. Apply shadows and highlights to enhance depth perception, but they must follow the isometric logic - consistent with the light source and angle rules.

By carefully balancing color in this way, we continue to uphold our brand's commitment to clear and impactful storytelling. This use of color ensures that whether it's a chart or an illustrated scene, our digital visuals are unmistakably Crowe.

Typography
For typography within our infographics, we adhere to the same principles of clarity that govern our broader digital presence. Utilizing the Helvetica Now typeface, we create a streamlined hierarchy that bolsters both readability and comprehension.

In our visual communications, headings and labels are presented in white to sharply contrast with the vibrant hues of our graphics, ensuring they capture attention without competing with the data they annotate. This minimalist approach to text supports the information it accompanies and prevents visual overload. Such consistent typographic practices affirm our commitment to delivering content that is not only accessible but also distinctly Crowe across various platforms.

Simply Versatile
Simple infographics can be remarkably versatile, they are powerful tools to narrate various stories or to extend the life of an
asset across multiple posts and platforms. This adaptability is key in maximizing the content's reach and resonance.
Application: Grow Your Own Library
Leveraging our unified isometric style and its simple features allows us to progressively combine and repurpose multiple assets. This practice enables us to swiftly construct bespoke scenes and cultivate an expansive, adaptable library of visuals that can span various topics and themes for Crowe.
